Premarital Counseling

A growing number of modern couples are taking advantage of premarital counseling. They know that this counseling will help them make the marriage of their dreams a reality. Research shows that couples who attend a quality premarital counseling program are 30% less likely to divorce than those who do not. Couples may think that living together is adequate preparation for marriage; however, statistics reveal that cohabitation prior to marriage does not increase the chances for marital success. There simply is no substitute for good preparation!

I am a facilitator of the highly respected Prepare/Enrich program used by over 3 million couples. It would be my honor to support you in building a solid foundation through quality premarital counseling.

I hope to talk with you soon!

FAQs

Prepare/Enrich is a scientifically validated premarital counseling program that has been used by more than 3 million couples. The main component of the program is a customized online survey you each complete in about 30-45 minutes. Prepare/Enrich is not just any survey. The items you respond to are based on research and are intended to help you identify the unique strengths and potential growth areas of your relationship.

Typically some or all of the following topics are addressed: enhancing your communication and conflict-resolution styles, negotiating personality differences, clarifying realistic expectations for blended families, solidifying the special gifts of your partnership and handling any challenges unique to your relationship. The experience is often described by couples as meaningful and fun.
